Description
This is a 2-part professional learning course that unpacks the concept and types of learning happening in play-based settings. The course draws on research and pedagogy as outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework.
The course includes:
- A recorded power points faciliated by an early childhood expert
- Handout 1- summarising the various types of play
- Handout 2- a summary of the learning happening through play
- Handout 3- a set of critical reflection provocations to scaffold reflection on learning and support applying learning in practice
- Handout 4- links to resources and references
