This course provides advice, guidance and practical tips to help educators to guide children’s behaviour in positive ways that support all learners to thrive.

What you will learn
Learners will explore:
– the causes of challenging behaviours, including understanding how beliefs and attitudes impact our repsones
– it supports learner’s to analyse and reflect on their pedagogy and practice including routines, environments and interactions.
Throughout the course learner’s will explore a range of responsive and intentional strategies and plan for learning and continuous improvement to create programs that meet children’s needs and support children’s and educator’s wellbeing.
This course contains 3 module and takes 3 hours to complete. It is self-paced so you can pause and resume in your own time.

– 3 recorded power points facilitated by an early childhood expert
– Handout 1- Practical tools for specific behaviours
– Handout 2- Child-centred prompts for supporting children’s behaviour
– Handout 3- Responsive, intentional and relational strategies
– Handout 4- Individual learning cycle plan
– Handout 5- a set of critical reflection provocations to scaffold reflection on learning and support applying learning in practice
