What you will learn
This course supports educators, teachers and leaders in education and care services to develop deep knowledge and understanding of the Principles, Practices and Learning Outcomes of the approved learning frameworks.
Learners are taken on a journey of exploring the evidence behind the parts of the frameworks, what this looks like in practice and some critical reflection provocations to promote learners to really analyse what they are doing and how to improve practice.

What’s included
The course is spread across 7 modules (recorded power point facilitated by an early childhood expert) and it takes about 7 hours to complete all modules.
– Part 1 History, vision, overarching themes, children’s learning and early childhood pedagogy
– Part 2 and 3 Principles
– Part 4 and 5 Practices
– Part 6 and 7 Learning Outcomes
– Handout 1- Structure of the frameworks
– Handout 2- Learning Outcomes and Key components
– Handout 3- Learner journal including critical reflection provocations to scaffold reflection on learning and support applying learning in practice
– Handout 4- links to resources.


Completing Learning frameworks resources will contribute 7 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW Curriculum/Early Years Learning Framework.
